“Seneca Street business district improvement project”
By: CindyK. “Seneca Street business district improvement project” is the former “Seneca Street Redevelopment Project” of which is the former “Suddenly Seneca”…
Change the name but the status is still the same.
In waiting for Channel 4 news to put the 30 second blurb up on their website, I’ll leave you with the text of Mayor Byron Brown’s quote to the news today:
“We are seeing tremendous investment and interest in the growth and development that are taking place in the Seneca Street business district and the City is very pleased to be a partner in this development.” Mayor Brown.
News extra note:
The streetlights are part of the Seneca Street business district’s $1.3 million improvement project.
While we are pleased with today’s announcement that had been previously told here, we still wonder when the rest of the money will come to fix the actual road that we’ve been waiting about 7 years for while Seneca Street has gotten worse. The post is respectfully submitted with frustration in the waiting.
I hate to say this, but those pics look like Buffalo avenue in Niagara Falls, in front of the factories. You could lose my car in those holes.
IMHO, Fix the damn street first, won’t do any good to open a business on a street that people are afraid to drive on.

PaulDub, I was up in Niagara Falls last week, can you imagine if I spent a day there taking pictures of the streets?
It makes me so frustrated that we pay the highest taxes and we have to drive around with the shittiest road infrastucture.
