Peremont Place: a little street with a big problem
By: Cindyk. As always, the pictures tell the true story, so here we go…..
Peremont Place, it's a "one way" back road off Cazenovia St, a block from Seneca Street, known more to locals as the corner of the Lodge Auction House or the side entrence of St. Simon's Church's parking lot.
There aren't any houses on this street,
You just drive up this street (from Caz) and hang a left towards North Legion Drive,

From the left (reverse angle) a "do not enter" sign is appropriately displayed (try to ignor as hard as you can that the weeds have grown almost as high as the sign
)

Still from a reverse angle, from the right though is the real problem. If you're coming from Key Bank's drive thru (on Seneca Street), and if you're not familiar with the area, you can not see that Peremont Place from the turn to Cazenovia Street is a "one way" …. why?
Because there is no sign posted.

There have been many near-misses on this little street because when you enter on to Peremont from Seneca Street, you don't know you have drive down to Glendhu or North Legion. Drivers are simply unaware that Peremont Place is where they should not be when heading towards Cazenovia Street.
Wow, I don’t think I have ever been down this street! LOL
